BUILT BY ONE.

Built purely and solely out of ego. I couldn't stand, ever frankly, running at half of what I am capable of. Thus, I built the one thing that forces me to reach my potential, not because it's the most complex, but because it's the most simple. It watches, adapts, enforces, and produces results.

Who runs this

Seventeen, Miami, still in high school, and already ahead of my peers: getting paid to build software, already running an AI system that watches me and assists me; in the future, this system will be pointed to the defense industry, to further bolster American Excellence through absolute engineering intellect, reasoning, and fortitude.

Simply, this obsession draws back to fifth grade and paper airplanes. I didn't solely fold them, but rather, I studied them. I watched videos, tweaked the designs, and threw them again. By pure intuition, I would figure out what produced extra velocity and how to maximize the actual flight distance compared to the straight-line displacement over multiple iterations.

The formation

Ninth grade is when I would say it got serious; it was primarily geopolitics, not surface-level geopolitics, but geopolitics, that quite frankly got me labeled a schizoid; simply put, I was ahead of my time, not because I knew geopolitics, but because I knew them and the majority of times I was right about what would occur: 2024 election, Anthony Fauci scandals in 2026, Epstein connection, eventual US-Iran War, the rise of Antisemitism; however, as arrogant as this seems, I knew deep down, I wasn't enough, because how come I was knowledgeable on these subjects, but I lacked in academic output? It could not have been!

The decision to fix it wasn't inspirational; it was cold and calculated. I briefly opened my own grades and got a flash-bang. I saw how bad it had become and I knew it wasn't ability at that point; it was in essence: laziness and absent-mindedness. Therefore, I cut all human stipulations from the equation. I built the thing that makes the wrong move impossible, because clearly I wasn't going to willingly make the right one on my own. "Everyone creates the thing they dread."

On January 9th, the creation of the database: Firebase. Eventually superseded by my own Postgres alternative created to suit my needs, not Supabase, not Nhost; my own tailored database with an equivalent of library-sized data stored, as of writing this. This database is crucial, undoubtedly the most load-bearing artifact of the whole project: the spine.

The mission

Aegis isn't a productivity app, it isn't an MDM, it isn't a budget tracker; rather, it's a LifeOS, a way of operating, compiled and deployed around my daily life: academics, finances, athletic ability, discipline. The system isn't something that reminds me, but rather a vicious system that holds me there, because I created this when I was sober, and when I was sober I knew I would relapse, so it is better to be forced to be sober and remove the human primitiveness from the equation.

Everybody runs on good intentions. The meaning to study, the meaning to sleep, the meaning to check the finances; however, it all dies within the gap of meaning to and doing. Aegis deletes the gap permanently; the other option just isn't on the table anymore, and therefore I have no choice but to be my perfect humanly self.

And yeah, Argus is my J.A.R.V.I.S. I cannot, in good conscience, act like me watching Iron Man isn't half of the reason I made this; however, the other part is purely because I am obsessed and competitive in nature. What I'm really out to prove is bigger than me: one person with the right infrastructure outpaces an institution. This is the proof. Built from nothing, live right now, sharper every week.

The lineage

I track progress the way I think about it, and I love: as a fighter-jet lineage. Five generations, P-51 to F-35. This is exactly where Aegis sits today.
